English bandleader, arranger and film composer. Born 12 October 1924 in London, England; died 23 April 2020, England, aged 95.

His prolific career included writing and arranging music for 27 films, scoring more than 500 compositions for labels such as Philips, with a relationship that spanned some 20 years, made more than 2,000 records, from covers to easy listening to Latin American music. Essentially he was a backroom boy in the British music business for many years, with numerous arrangements, backings and radio broadcasts to his credit.
