Julian Fuhs Follies Band

German early Jazz band founded by bandleader Julian Fuhs in 1924 as one of the first big bands in the city. From 1924 to 1929, they played at many then-popular places in Berlin, as well as for recording purposes for the Shellac label [l124849]. The band was dissolved in 1929 as a consequence of the global depression, when many clubs and record companies had to close due to financial reasons.
