German born jazz pianist and bandleader (born November 20, 1891 in Berlin, Germany - died February 04, 1975 in Miami, Florida. He took the American citizenship in 1916.
As one of the first, he founded his Jazz-band Julian Fuhs Follies Band in 1924 in Berlin, Germany. The band was one of the most famous bands in Berlin of the 1920's. In 1929, it was dissolved as a consequence of the global depression in that year.
