Simbi Ajikawo is better known as Little Simz (formerly Lil Simz). As an actress, she had a featured role in the first Netflix-released series (third series, overall) of London-based street drama Top Boy (2019), alongside former vocalist Ashley Walters (aka Asher D).

Her fourth album, [m=1510205] (2019), was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize (2019), as was her fifth album, [m=2278882] (2021), which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize (2022), and for which she won.

In February 2022 she also took the ’Best New Artist’ award at the Brit Awards.
