Record company executive, owner and band manager from 1984. Morgan worked for All The Madmen Records (1984-86) and helped manage Blyth Power, Hannibal Records (1988), Cooking Vinyl (1988-1990), Real World Records & WOMAD (1990-1992), Glastonbury (1990), Fnac Music Production (1993-94), Piranha / WOMEX (1995-96), World Circuit (1997-98). He also founded the label Apartment 22 in 1998 and managed the group Tinariwen (2001-2009). He has also worked as a translator (French-English) for Wrasse Records, World Circuit, Real World, Serious, Lo’Jo, Tinariwen etc.

He left the music industry in 2009 to concentrate on his work as a writer and journalist.
