Remastered from Goodman's own copy of the original lacquers, and including audience announcements and applause. Originally released as Columbia Masterworks SL 160 (LP).

Housed in a triple-thick plastic jewel case with a wraparound paper cover, and containing a 40pp illustrated booklet.

1-3 and 2-16 were originally released unofficially on a collector's LP, Sunbeam 127.
Tracks 2-20 to 2-28 feature Benny Goodman's comments about the tunes, and were released originally for DJs on a 12 78 rpm record.
